Kushimoto Marine Park
There are plenty of facilities for getting a real sense of what goes on underwater like a 24 m long tunnel that puts sharks and stingrays right before your very eyes and an underwater observatory set 6.3 m below the surface for viewing colorful tropical fish.

Kashino Fishing Park
This fishing park is operated by the Kashino Fishermen's Cooperative. Visitors can try their luck fishing over a natural reef. Any fish that you catch can be prepared and eaten at the park.

Tuna Feeding
The first successful attempt in the world to breed wild tuna was here in Kushimoto. Visitors are welcome to feed the massive tuna as they swim through the tank.

Canoeing on the Koza River
The Koza River boasts a beautiful natural environment. Canoes can be rented from the Koza Tourist Association at Koza Station, so even beginners and families can give canoeing a try.

Mt. Kasane
At the peak are found Jinouji Temple, which is said to have been founded by Kobo Daishi, and Kasaneyama Shrine. Stone Buddha statues line the trail up to the shrine. From a small park near the top can be seen the Hashikuiiwa Rocks, Shionomisaki Point and Nachi Mountains.

Skipjack Tuna
