Flowers of various colors open up each season, and sooth visitors' hearts with the warm climate of Wakayama.
 1.Wakayama Castle
There are 1200 of Someiyoshino, and total 100 of Botan-zakura and Oshima-Zakura in the compound of the castle. From around the end of March, they decorate the compound with pale pink. At the cherry festival from the end of March to the middle of April, the place is crowded with many people who come to see the cherry blossoms.

 2.Kimii-dera Temple
Kimii-dera Temple, the second amulet-issuing office of Westland 33 places, is a place of scenic beauty commanding a panoramic view of Wakaura Bay. There are 1,200 of cherry trees, mainly Someiyoshino, which are famous for early cherry trees. Among them, there are many cherry trees who boast their earliest bloomer in Kansai.

 3.Negoro-dera Temple
There are weeping cherry trees of over 200-year-old, the luxurious blossoms hanging dynamically from the giant trees have enough dignity of old trees that have gone through long times. The beauty of their magical and sensitive emergence that looks best by the lighting-up in the night is a must-see.

 4.Dojo-ji Temple
The precincts are filled with full-bloomed brilliant Iriai-zakura and Senbon-zakura, and the mountain on the back is filled with the blossoms of about 300 Someiyoshino. Under the full-bloomed cherry blossom, it is artistic to think of the painful love of Kiyohime hearing pictorial sermon of the resident priest.

Refreshing park on the hill commanding the view of Shirahama. There are 2,000 Someiyoshino blossom in the park to fill the stretch of Heisogen.

 6.Shionomisaki
The cherry trees bloom from the end of March to the beginning of April. At Shiosai no Mori in Kushimoto-chi Izumo, Oshima-zakura and Someiyoshino bloom along the promenade.

 1.Togenkyo
Around the time of the spring mist trail, the place is filled with pink carpet of peach. The scene of flower mist, expands for a long distance in the expansive land of peach which at a glance seem to posses 100,000 peach trees at the south coast of Kino river, really fits the name of Togenkyo.
